- Real World Computing Partnership is sponsoring a workshop to discuss
- the state of the art of parallel/distributed C++ technologies, and
- future direction to high performance parallel/distributd computing in
- C++. This workshop will bring together advanced C++ researchers from
- countries all over the world, US, Europe, Japan, and others.

- WORKSHOP LOCATION
-
- The workshop will be held at Japan Advanced Institue of Science and
- Technology (JAIST) at Kanzawa, Japan. Kanazawa is located at Ishikawa
- prefecture, facing the Sea of Japan, and is about 400km northwest of
- Tokyo area, 300km north east of Kyoto and Osaka. There are no direct
- means of transportation from major international airports (Narita or
- Osaka) to the workshop site; You must first got to the Kanazawa
- station, Komatsu station or Komatsu airport by train or airway. By
- train, it is about 4 hours from Tokyo (by super-express train
- Shinkansen via Nagaoka). By airway, it is about 1 hour from Tokyo
- Haneda airport. From Kanazawa station (or Komatsu airport), the
- workshop site, JAIST, is about 30 to 40 minutes by car. Using taxi, it
- will cost approximately 6000 Yen. We will provide shuttle bus lines
- from official hotels to the symposium site.
